“Size matters” – while a huge banner with this provocative lettering on the facade of the 18-story high-rise in Feldbergstraße in Langen was still attracting attention, work began behind it on a spectacular facade design. In just seven weeks, grey concrete gave way to an abstract-naturalistic painting with a blue sky, white clouds, deceptively real trees and an illusionistic zoo. The artist Ulrich Allgaier, who specialises in exclusive murals, was responsible for this.
