SOLDALIT uses a proprietary formula combining silica-sol and potassium silicate binders, inorganic mineral pigments and fillers and an acrylate copolymer to form both chemical and mechanical bonds, even on the most difficult to paint substrates, without primer coats.

Soldalit—Arte delivers all the high-performance benefits of Soldalit, paired with unique color brilliance and hand-crafted appearance. Eliminating TiO2 from the pigmentation, allows each mineral pigment to shine through without the dampening effect of “white” pigment. Colors are more radiant, and the slightly translucent finish can be layered for a “mottled” appearance, uniquely prized in historic renovation of masonry.
Titanium dioxide-free facade paint with unique color depth and brilliance provides a more hand-finished appearance especially prized for historic preservation of masonry. Without the color dampening effect of titanium dioxide, mineral pigments appear most radiant, and the slightly translucent finish yields a hand-applied, even mottled final appearance. This finish can mimic the appearance of Limewash but delivers decades of durability and color stability, that Limewash cannot match.

Soldalit-ME uses the power of sunlight coupled with photocatalytic pigments for a façade paint that purifies the air, deodorizes, sterilizes and cleans itself. Ideal for use on masonry exteriors in urban or commercial areas prone to high levels of pollution, coastal or wet-areas where mold and algae growth are prevalent or wherever a self-cleaning paint is desired.
Highly specialized sol silicate facade paint with photocatalytic effect for previously painted and bare masonry, concrete, stucco, stone and many other mineral-based surfaces. In the presence of U.V. light, removes harmful air pollutants such as VOC’s by photocatalysis and chemically degrades organic pollutants like carbon, soot and dirt as well as mold, mildew and algae that when neutralized are washed away by rainfall due to the water repellent nature of the paint finish. Ideal for use in urban areas or industrial areas with unusually high levels of pollutants.

Innovative exterior mineral silicate paint which reduces heat gain from exposure to harsh sunlight, especially in dark paint color shades. Even dark colors are lightfast and will not fade and the finish is completely waterproof and extremely weather resistant.
Solar radiation can be a problem for facades as heat-gain and temperature variations between day and night can create added stress and prematurely age building envelopes, especially in climates with extreme ultraviolet. Soldalit Coolit uses a unique pigmentation that absorbs less solar energy and reduces the heat-gain typically associated with ordinary paints, especially in darker color shades. By reducing temperature related swings, and the strain on the wall system, the life span is extended. Soldalit Coolit has been proven by testing to reduce surface heat gain by as much as 26% for color 9008, Black.

SoldalitFixative is a pure silicate primer and thinner/dilution. It is used as a pretreatment for highly porous surfaces or as a thinner for SoldalitSystem Paints as prescribed. As a thinner it lowers the viscosity of the first coat of Soldalitto aid in deeper penetration and adding up to 10% max of Fixative provides more open working time to help maintain a wet edge in warmer temperatures. Use also as a pretreatment and mild consolidation for aged and weathered masonry surfaces where uneven porosity and high absorption are likely or on sandy and friable masonry surfaces.
